Our Mission

  • The choir dates to 1910 but may have its origins in a group from 1890 known as the Salisbury Choral Union.
  • On May 25, 1975 the choir performed at the Memorial Day Service at the Salisbury National Cemetary.

We have a group of members who formed the "Chorus of Hope" last year. This group performs for outreach programs in our community. The group also participates in the yearly Carolina's Kidney Walk that helps to raise money to fight kidney disease.

This year the Kidney Walk took place on Saturday, May 10, 2014 in Freedom Park in Charlotte.

If you would like to help support us by making a donation to the The National Kidney Foundation, please click below and join the Chorus of Hope as we strive to fight kidney disease.
